The first trailer of A Star Is Born is here, and it's making people say, "Oh, my Gaga!"

The film is the third remake of the 1937 hit of the same name, starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The musical drama stars Bradley Cooper as country music sensation Jackson Maine and Lady Gaga as an aspiring singer named Ally.

The film, which is set to release on October 5, is the most anticipated outing of the year, not just because it's Cooper's directorial debut but also marks Lady Gaga's foray into Hollywood.

Cooper makes a stellar impression as a country singer, who is at a significant crossroad in his life. And on another note, can Cooper take up the cause of country music? Keith Urban is dragging.

Cooper is seen taking Coachella by storm, drinking whiskey in the car, rocking corduroy jackets and very cool hats — you know signature country singer stuff.

Then he meets Lady Gaga and eventually fades away in the background as the trailer starts to look more and more like a Gaga music video. We half expected her to start singing Bad Romance.

Speaking of Gaga, we think Hollywood is about to be hit pretty hard by the Mother Monster. Gaga makes for a fantastic choice for the role of a budding singer, who is not confident enough as a songwriter. Interestingly, the role of Ally was initially supposed to be played by Beyonce. But we are kind of glad it didn't work out. Sorry Bey, love you.

The film also stars comedian Dave Chappelle as Cooper's BFF, who is "very worried" about him for some reason. Maybe because of all the whiskey-drinking, or because Cooper straight up punched an old dude.

Nevertheless, Hollywood is screaming at the trailer of A Star Is Born. Katy Perry, Lea Michele, Joss Whedon, and other Tweeple, too, joined in. Have a look.
