Not all of us hated showing off our dancing skills before our parents' friends. Some of us actually liked breaking into an impromptu jive when our favourite song played on the stereo. And Hrithik Roshan is one of us.

An old black-and-white picture we retrieved from his Instagram account shows an eight-year-old Duggu shaking a leg to Micheal Jackson's Thriller. Notice how he's impeccably dressed in formals with what looks like a bow tie. What an adorable little gentleman he is, isn't he?

The year was 1982, and MJ's Thriller fever was in full swing. Of course, it got to our favourite dancing star, too. And we just can't imagine how cute he must have looked moonwalking at that party with everyone twice as tall as him watching and cheering for him. The expressions on his parents, Rakesh and Pinky Roshan's faces, however, says it all.

"1982. MJ’s #Thriller has just released. That’s an inspired 8 year old me doing nonsense, but to Mom and Dad, I was Jackson that night," Hrithik wrote along with the throwback picture. Of course, he was Jackson but not just that day. He was Jackson even on the day his debut film, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, released and the entire nation was left dumbstruck for they hadn't seen anyone dance like that before.

After all, we are an entire generation of kids who danced to Ek pal ka jeena at the drop of a hat. Aren't we?
