For an entire generation of kids who grew up on superhero comics and films, Spider-Man stands out as one of the favourites. And Tiger Shroff is no different. So when he was signed up to dub for Spider-Man: Homecoming in Hindi, the actor was beyond excited, and naturally so.

“I can’t express enough my excitement to be the voice of my childhood superhero Spider-Man in Hindi. I have grown up watching Spider-Man movies and I must say that he is the one superhero character I have always wished to play,” Tiger said in an official statement.

Although Tiger won't play the character on screen, voicing the character does amount to reliving the moments from the film. “I can promise, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a fun, action-filled rollercoaster ride, unlike any other Spider-Man films you may have seen earlier. I just hope audiences like me as Spidey’s voice in Hindi,” he added.

It's not that Tiger was just roped in for the project owing to his massive youth connect. Turns out he was the preferred pick because he has the physical agility that one associates with Spider-Man.

“Tiger embodies dexterity and physical agility that one associates with Spider-Man, which makes this association truly special and exciting,” said Vivek Krishnani, MD of Sony Pictures, the production banner. And now we can't wait for July 7. Can you?
