It's a bittersweet moment for Game of Thrones fans — the more spoilers and hints we come across on the Internet, the closer we're actually getting to the end of the show. So, we didn't know whether to jump with joy or just fling ourselves on the couch and cry when we heard Sophie Turner drop a hint about Sansa Stark's fate in the show's eighth season.

But all we can say is this is exactly what we've been hoping and praying for for the last two seasons at least.

Speaking to Gold Derby, Sophie said, “I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don’t think other people really saw. I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting, and at some point or another, it was going to manifest itself somehow, and she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I’m really happy where this storyline for her has ended up."

Frankly, who hasn't pictured Sansa as a warrior? Of course, Arya Stark scoops the cake with her Needle, but Sansa has, over the years, proved herself to be a silent warrior. If S8 is where we see her truly doing the Tango, we don't mind, do we?

Also, given that Sophie is 'happy' with the way Sansa's narrative has panned out, we're going to just jump to the conclusion that she survives at the end of the show! Cuz in GoT world, that's a big, big deal.

S8 will see the epic battle between the White Walkers and Westeros, manned by Daenerys Targaryen, her dragons, and Jon Snow fighting alongside her. Furthermore, the battle will, on one hand, bring two rivals on the same side — Daenerys and Cersei Lannister — while on the other, pit two bro-dragons against each other — Viserion against Drogon and Rhaegal. *sniff! We need a moment here. Viserion may die!*

So, no one knows what's actually going to transpire beyond the wall. Except, Sophie's statement gives us a glimmer of hope. *breaths*
