After her brother Luv Sinha rallied behind her with his social media post against Amaal Mallik, Sonakshi Sinha has now found a supporter in Parineeti Chopra in the debate over whether actors should sing. The Ishaqzaade actor recently threw her weight behind Sona and took a dig at Kailash Kher, who started the debate, and Amaal, who backed him. In an interview to DNA, Pari wanted to know who gets to decide whether actors should only sing in films or not. "Who decides what I can do and can’t do? Where does this debate end? And why are we having it?", she asked.

Parineeti further said that an actor should be multi-faceted and, being a part of the entertainment business, one needs to know everything.

Pari said that when she is acting, no one has a problem. When she dances, or cracks a joke, no professional dancer or comedian raises any objection. Similarly, fashion designers aren't miffed when she wears designer clothes or stunt persons don't go up in arms when she performs action sequences. "Then why this hue and cry about actors singing?” the 28-year-old actor asked.

The Amaal-Sona spat kicked off when the singer batted for Kailash who shared his reservations about Sonakshi singing at the Justin Bieber concert. Amaal not only supported Kailash but also added that actors should stick to their job.

However, Sonakshi didn't let go of the music director that easily. She gave Amaal a piece of her mind on Twitter and her protective brother also took on Amaal and accused him of stealing tunes.
