Shweta Tiwari fell prey to a death hoax for the third time on Saturday. The telly actor was in the news over the weekend after a Facebook post condoling her death went viral. The post was published under the name of Sakhsi Tanwar. However, it was later confirmed that the profile in question was fake. The news inevitably threw Shweta's husband Abhinav Kohli into a tizzy. According to a Daily Bhaskar report, Abhinav immediately called Shweta to check on her. After getting a confirmation from Shweta's side that she was doing fine, Abhinav cleared the air and said that the reports doing the rounds were fake.
"I didn't know how to react on it. Immediately, I called up Shweta and found her all well. In fact, she started laughing at me. All I want to say is that she is alive and is doing very well," said Abhinav.
When the Kasauti Zindagii Kay actor was asked about the hoax, she said that she doesn't want to react to such rumours anymore as she is used to people 'killing' her off. "I don't feel like reacting to such rumours now. Believe it or not, this is the third time people have declared me dead and I have become used to it."
Shweta also said that she asked her husband to relax when he called her up to check on her. "Abhinav was the first one to call me up; he was nervous while speaking on phone. I told him to relax and just ignore such baseless rumors. I am very much alive and happily enjoying the evening with my children," she said.
Celebrities such as Farida Jalal, Dilip Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been subjected to death hoaxes earlier.
