Is Shraddha a Tay Tay fan? Image: Fotocorp
Remember when Taylor Swift threw fans into a tizzy last year, when she cleared out her Instagram and started posting snake videos? Because snakes were the symbol of her new album Reputation, and also of the brand new Taylor? *winks*
The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now, and shit?
Yeah, Tay Tay might have inspired fellow millennial icon Shraddha Kapoor in a big way, as the actor just cleared out her Instagram to post some cryptic photos.
Shraddha shocked everyone this morning after her fans couldn't catch a glimpse of her display picture and other photographs on her Instagram profile. Many speculated the Half Girlfriend actor is taking a break from the photo-sharing website while others felt her account was hacked.
But the Kapoor girl is just clearing out some space out for promoting her new film.
The actor, who will be seen in the horror drama Stree, has actually begun the social media promotions for the movie that is slated to hit theatres on August 30.
In order to promote the film, she deleted every other picture from her Insta profile to highlight only three posts in the grid layout which reads 'MARD KO DARD HOGA', when combined. This happens to be the tagline of Stree that also stars Rajkummar Rao.
"Har MARD savdhaan rahe, kyunki iss baar #MardKoDardHoga! @Rajkummar_Rao #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @pankajtri3 @Aparshakti_khurana #AbhishekBanerjee @maddockfilms #D2RFilms @krishna.dk @rajanddk," she captioned the images.
This is how her profile looks now.
This is not all. She even deleted her Twitter profile and cover pics to promote her film on the microblogging site. Don’t believe us? See for yourself:
We are eager to learn whether the film is really set to break the age-old notion that men don't feel pain? Only time will tell. But a fan page on Twitter has claimed that all of Shraddha’s pictures will be back on her Instagram account post the release of Stree.
Wow! Now that's some publicity stunt, we say.
