Salman Khan — the toughie Dabangg dude who bashes up baddies, the shy, romantic hero who makes many hearts skip a beat, the funny guy with a quirky sense of humour. Down the years these are the roles we have seen Bollywood's Bhaijaan play on screen. But, the times they are a changin', and Salman is all geared up to make his debut as, hold your breath, a baddie. Yes, you heard that right. Bhai will be seen portraying a completely grey character for the first time in Remo D'Souza's Race 3.

Producer Ramesh Taurani, in an interview to Pinkvilla said that they are continuing with the tradition of lead characters being pretty grey, as seen in the Race films. "Salman’s character is completely grey in Race 3 and it’s an extremely slick, stylish and exciting one — something he has not done before," he said.

It's not just Salman who is a new face in the Race franchise. Even Remo has replaced director duo Abbas-Mustan, who helmed the first two films Race and Race 2. While we have seen Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy, Jacqueline Fernandez and Deepika Padukone as the leading ladies in the Race series, Salman's co-star is yet to be finalised.
