After winning the National Award for Bajrangi Bhaijaan this year, actor Salman Khan and filmmaker Kabir Khan are set to work together, yet again. Buzz is Kabir recently met Salman and narrated his script. Salman has readily agreed to take it up. That's not all. Like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the actor will also produce this project. The duo is aiming at an Eid release, next year.

Salman and Kabir's last two collaborations Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger, both huge hits, also released in the Eid of 2015 and 2012 respectively. A few other films of Salman were also contending for this lucky date. It was rumoured that Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2 or Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 3 may also release on Eid. However trade buzz suggests that Kabir Khan has been the lucky one to book the date.

While 2017 is booked, this year Eid will see a major box office clash. Salman is prepping to release his wrestler movie Sultan in July while Shah Rukh Khan is also eying the same date for his drama thriller Raees. None of the actors have till now shifted their dates and seem to be adamant on a clash.

Salman has had most of his movies release on Eid, but in 2013 Shah Rukh Khan booked the date for his romantic-comedy, Chennai Express. Salman association with Eid dates back to his hits including Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010) and Kick (2014). Going by his track record, Salman would definitely not want to let go of his lucky date. And we aren't complaining either.
