We hope this is just another fan theory, but the evidence is too compelling

From Season 1 to Season 7, you know how far Jon Snow has come, right? From Ned Stark's bastard to Lord Commander, to King in the North, our underdog has now become one of the central characters in the HBO series, Game of Thrones.

The Great War is here, winter has come and so has the end of the show. Season 8 is the last one and we are waiting to find out what happens to Night King and Co, and who finally sits on that Iron Throne. If like us, you think, it's Jon Snow, brace yourself. We chanced upon a theory that has shook our faith.

By now, it's either Jon or Dany who is going to take the throne. Sorry Cersei, not you! But then, there's a fan theory that has come to light that hints at Jon Snow's fate in the series.

Hey Jon, be safe, okay?!

Reddit user, PersonalMeditations, like any other GoTian, was rewatching the series. In the fifth episode of the seventh season, Samwise Gamgee...oops (LOTR deja vu)...Samwell Tarly was seen eavesdropping on a Maester and noted something we all seemed to have missed.

S/he wrote, “Sam Tarly is eavesdropping on a meeting at 23:08 in the episode when a Maester says offhandedly, 'Don't forget that the prophet Lodos who promised that that Drowned God would rise up and destroy Aegon the Conqueror.'"

And we all know Lyanna Stark-Targaryen told Ned that Jon's real name is Aegon Targaryen. That makes him Aegon the Conqueror. And if theorists are to be believed, then Drowned God is rumoured to be Euron Greyjoy.

In the books, at least, Euron tries to summon Cthulhu (a cosmic entity) and plans to attack Oldtown. Will he also attack Jon?

No, no, no, noooo!

We sure as hell hope not. But the fact that Jon is Aegon the Conqueror makes him a target of the Drowned God. Also, Sophie Turner recently revealed that 'this year's GoT is bloodier than ever,' and it's ringing in our ears. *Tears are coming*

GoT's filming has finally wrapped up and we saw videos and pictures of Jon and gang partying hard at Belfast. We just hope he makes it to the end. But you know it's GoT and whatever you least expect happens on the show.

Jon, stay safe, okay?
