Trust Ranveer Singh to always pull a rabbit out of a hat with every new film he signs. And this time, he's pulled out a new haircut for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. Looks like he's finally decided to part ways with the luscious locks. So, it's goodbye to Mr Long Hair for now. Yes, it hurts...

Ranveer's next is Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, which also stars Alia Bhatt. Ranveer took to Twitter to give us a step by step look of his new hairdo as he transformed into Gully Boy mode. And when he was finally done, we kind of had a Band Baja Baraat deja vu. Though we loved his long hair, we like the floppy-haired Ranveer too.

But Ranveer being Ranveer, this is not the first time he has made a spectacle of his grooming sessions. Remember the last time he went live after Gunday, where he made friend and co-star Arjun Kapoor chop off his beard and moustache? And, of course, the time after Bajirao Mastani, when he got rid of his twirling moustache thanks to his rumoured ladylove, Deepika Padukone's superb scissor skills. This time, however, he stuck to professional hands.

Gully Boy is said to be inspired by the rap/ hip-hop scene from the streets of Mumbai, and in keeping with the styling, the Befikre actor has been sporting hoodies and tees mostly. Cuz, that's so Ranveer.
