Kapil Sharma has landed in choppy waters yet again. An independent students' federation in Amritsar has filed a complaint against the ace comedian for allegedly flouting traffic rules.
According to a Times of India report, the president of the federation, Keshav Kohli, said Kapil was driving a Bullet motorcycle beyond the permissible speed limit, and he was also not wearing a helmet. Kohli feels Kapil shouldn't have flouted rules as it sends out a bad message to people who look up to him as their idol.
A video of the incident has gone viral on the Internet. In the clip, Kapil is seen riding a Bullet, wearing a cap, as he talks about Amritsar and his days in the city. Kapil was born and brought up in this north Indian city.
This is the second time that the ace comedian has been implicated by the locals of Amritsar. Earlier, Amritsar's nurses filed a complaint against him for poking fun at nurses on his show.
Kapil is yet to respond to the complaint filed by the student federation. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming TV show, Family Time With Kapil Sharma. The show is expected to launch by the end of March.
