Barun Sobti's second coming in Bollywood will be with the sports drama 22 Yards
Barun Sobti has turned a year older today. And as a birthday surprise, he gave his fans something they've been long waiting for — the first look of his character Ron Sen from his second Bollywood film, 22 Yards.
The television heartthrob, who rose to fame with the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, debuted in Bollywood with Main Aur Mr Riight in 2014. Though this film bombed at the box office, the actor had already bagged two more Bollywood projects by then. The John Abraham-produced Satra Ko Shaadi Hai, which is currently in post production, and the Mitali Ghosh directed sports drama 22 Yards.
The latter will see Barun playing the role of a sports agent, a bengali boy Ron Sen. And knowing his fan following, there has been a lot curiosity around his look in the film. Finally, putting an end to the wait, the otherwise social media shy actor took to Twitter and Instagram to give away his look from the sets of 22 Yards.
"Ron Sen @22YARDS_film" Barun captioned the image.
Must we agree, he looks killer in that blue denim-black tee combo accompanied by the pair of chic shades. His hands are tucked in his picket, and the sport watch is adding to his charm. Reminds us of Arnav Singh Raizada — the character that made him famous on the small screen.
Barun was in Kolkata last month to shoot portions of the film, and that's when he was spotted with TV actor Panchi Bora of Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi fame. In the film, Panchi plays a sports journo and Barun's lady love. We are so J!
A picture of the two was also posted on the film's handle on Twitter with the caption, "Finally here it is..."
