Three-movies old and already making the right waves. Disha Patani is in the news again, but not owing to her relationship with Tiger Shroff, but for an issue, we wish wouldn't be an issue at all.

The Befikra girl just shut down body shamers, in the only they way there is. The MS Dhoni- Untold Story actor was recently slut-shamed for her choice of attire at an awards show. Disha wore a black Nicolas Jebran gown to the event. But apparently, her 'overtly revealing' dress, as trolls put it, didn't go down well with some people and hence her shades of black fell flat.

However, Disha isn't here to keep mum. She took to Instagram yesterday and gave it back to the trolls. " When people in our country are worshipping goddesses, what a shame for not being respectful enough to know certain boundaries that make you a human and not an animal! " she wrote.

The actor captioned the post as, " Really felt a need to share this!  Thanks to my fan clubs friends and family for always giving me the strength I hope we all can find this strength from within each other and stop suffering."

Further, a video surfaced recently, wherein a man sitting next to Patani is seen oggling at her cleavage.

This isn't the first time a female actor has been slut-shamed for her attire. Recently, Rising Star judge and singer Monali Thakur was censured for wearing a short dress on the show.

We applaud Disha's courage, and hope more actors, both male and female, would stand up to groundless shaming, as and when they see it.
