Amitabh Bachchan just upped his social media PDA game and how. Big B's Twitter action mostly comprises sharing pictures and anecdotes from his younger days, talking about his family and his grandkids in particular. But one of his latest posts —a collection of images of him carrying his wife of 44 years, Jaya Bachchan, in his arms — has left us speechless.

It all started when Big B went all out on Twitter celebrating 36 years of Lawaaris, his 1981 hit, co-starring Zeenat Aman, Rakhee Gulzar and Amjad Khan. What started off as throwback, with Big B tweeting, “T 2431 - LAWAARIS .. 36 years of it from release .. great music, great story writing and the company of my co stars ..” ended up giving us a sneak peek into Big B and Jaya's romance.

Bachchan shared a series of black-and-white and sepia pictures of him carrying Jaya in his arms. While Jaya held a mic close to his mouth, Big B crooned to his hit number, Mere angne mein from Lawaaris. Turns out, it used be a ritual of sorts back then. A line from the popular song goes, Jiski biwi chhoti, and apparently Bachchan was often requested to perform the song at stage shows and he'd happily oblige.

“T 2431 - Lawaris .. song 'mere angane mein' .. my idea and given and sung by me .. did it on stage shows live with Jaya .. biwi choti,” he wrote on Twitter. Now we wouldn’t be thinking too much about it if this was Ranveer Singh tweeting about his ladylove, Deepika Padukone, or even Beta B Abhishek Bachchan gushing about his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Cannes outing (which he totally did). But coming from Big B, it is quite something isn't it?
