We have further proof that Maisie Williams is not your average 20-year-old Brit babe. Her middle-earth ninja stint in Game of Thrones seems to have landed her a role in the new X-Men flick. After Sophie Turner, Maisie is the newest Stark sibling to have landed a role in the Marvel franchise flick, New Mutants.

Maisie, who found breakthrough success after she played Arya Stark on GoT, is one of the first people to be cast in New Mutants. Interestingly, Sophie, who plays Arya's elder sibling, Sansa, is also a major part of the Marvel franchise. She has been announced as the lead in the upcoming X-Men film, Dark Phoenix. Maisie is the second major GoT star to be a part of X-Men.

Maisie will be playing Wolsbane in New Mutants, who is a Scottish mutant battling a dilemma between her religious beliefs and her ability to turn into a werewolf. New Mutants will basically follow the lives of a group of teenage mutants, who are realising the extent of their powers. The film is scheduled to release on April 13, 2018.
