When was the last time you saw Hrithik Roshan on screen? No, his rumoured love escapades splashed across the small screen don't count, nor do his TV interviews. We're talking about his big screen appearances. Kaabil, you may recall, was his last outing, over a year ago.
But Duggu fans, worry not. Your wait is going to get over soon as Hrithik is back in business with the Vikas Bahl directorial venture, Super 30 — a biopic based on mathematician Anand Kumar's life.
Taking the Internet by storm is his first look as Kumar. Going completely de-glam, our very own Greek God is seen with a full beard and dishevelled hair. Algebra, Trigonometry just got interesting, right? After all, who wouldn't want to take lessons from him?
Hrithik is in Varanasi, and will shoot there for the next 10 days. According to a Pune Mirror report, he will subsequently shoot in Bhopal and Patna, too.
The biopic went on floors on January 22. "On the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami, I am beginning my journey of Super 30 where I am playing a teacher for the first time. May the Goddess of learning bless this effort," Duggu had posted on Twitter.

The film will map Anand's journey on becoming a Math whiz. His Super 30 education programme selects 30 brilliant students from economically backward classes and hones their skills for the Joint Entrance Examination. A whopping number of 396 students (out of 450), tutored by Kumar, have made it to the country's IITs. His school was named one of the best in Asia by TIME magazine in 2010. Even former US President Barack Obama was all praise for the man.
Super 30 is scheduled to hit the screens on January 25, 2019.
