A decade after Indian television's most sought-after soap operas — Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii — came to a close, the telly fraternity witnessed the reunion of the two titans, Sakshi Tanwar and Smriti Irani, at a party in Delhi yesterday.
And accompanying the actors was telly town's queen bee Ekta Kapoor, who gave us a glimpse of the bahu bonhomie on Instagram.
Take a look.
She captioned the image as, " Two stalwarts ! D twains meet in Delhi."
Sakshi and Smiriti ushered in an era of women-oriented daily soaps. Be it Smriti's power-packed turn as Tulsi in Kyunki... or Sakshi's razor-sharp dialogue delivery as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii's Parvati, the two actors took Indian living rooms by storm.
