This is the first time Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are teaming up for a film, Brahmastra, and their on and off-screen chemistry is already making headlines months before the release of the sci-fi drama. And to top it all, Alia recently revealed she is fascinated by her co-star and also divulged the reason why. Don't let your imagination run wild, it's all professional.

Like many of us, even Alia is bowled over by the way Ranbir gets into a character so effortlessly. She has, in fact, always wanted to work with Ranbir and when they filmed the first schedule of Brahmastra, he was exactly the way she had thought him to be. Heaping praises on her co-star, Alia says that "not only is he a fabulous actor but also a fabulous human being".

"I've always wanted to work with Ranbir. In fact, I was looking forward to the day I'd get to shoot with him because I've been fascinated by the way he steps into his characters. When we filmed together, it was exactly the way I had imagined it. He's not only a fabulous actor but also a fabulous human being. It really doesn't get better than a film set with Ayan (Mukerji) and Ranbir on it," she told a daily.

The team has already wrapped up the months-long Bulgaria schedule of the film and it was quite daunting for them. But Alia believes "when you are working with friends and family, it never feels like too much work". We totally get you, girl!

Alia says, "It was a huge schedule. But when you are working with friends and family it never feels like too much work. Brahmastra is a first-of-its-kind for Hindi cinema. It's our most ambitious film to date and I'm curious to see how people respond to this kind of content."
