A bunch of kids are singing their hearts out — correction, their paagal hearts out —.with a little help from singer-composer Vishal Dadlani. 6 Pack Band 2.0, comprising six teenagers with special needs and very special musical talents, have recreated the iconic 90s' song Dil Toh Pagal Hai to raise awareness about mental health.

Titled Dil Toh Paagal Hai (Isspeshal Mix), the song has the refrain Dil Toh Paagal Hai, Dil Deewana Hai playing on loop, while the rest of the lyrics have been changed to express how joyfully these kids have embraced their disability and are living life to the fullest. Led by Dadlani, the teenagers have come together to show the world that no disability can hold you back if you get the right kind of love and support.

Madhuri Dixit, who featured in the original Dil Toh Paagal Hai from the eponymous film directed by Yash Chopra, is elated with the new rendition.

"So proud to see my favorite song with one of my favorite filmmakers, Yashji, reversioned for mental health & disability awareness. My dil is paagal for the talented #6PackBand2, you're truly #isspeshal #DilTohPaagalHai @Y_films @VishalDadlani @patilashish," she wrote on Twitter.

The recreated song calls out the ignorance of a society that refers to the special needs community as paagal (mad). It underlines how 'pagalpan' is what you need in your life to feel alive.

And this is not the first time the teens have brought their talent to the fore. Watch their first single and you'll know how isspeshal they are:
