Gotham Season 4 will reportedly focus on Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming Batman — finally. The TV show expanded upon the Batman storyline in its last season. And if reports are to be believed, the upcoming season of the show will chronicle the journey of the caped crusader.

Season 3 of Gotham included a young Bruce aka future Batman (David Mazouz) as a recurring character. A teen Bruce was seen undergoing training from his mentor Ra's al Ghul, after the death of his parents. DC favourites like Bane, Catwoman, Joker and Detective Gordon have already been showcased in the show. Gotham is a crime drama,  which basically follows the infamous crime scene of the fictional city of Gotham. And now, the show will also follow the transformation of the Dark Knight.

Gotham's teen Bruce is already a very good depiction of Batman's earlier years, and explores the foundation years of the superhero. Nothing of this sort has been done for television before. Though Bruce is quite far from actually becoming Batman, Season 4 of Gotham will feature Bruce's training from Ra's al Ghul, and his grappling with his own identity.

Gotham Season 3 is currently running, and has acquired unanimously positive reviews. Season 4 premiere dates have not been revealed yet. Watch this space for more details.
