Is Dinklage the next Marvel baddie? Image: Facebook
How would Tyrion Lannister fit in with Iron Man and Thor? Marvel nerds might soon find out the answer to the question, as Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is in talks to star in a key role in Avengers: Infinity War. This is the third Avengers movie, and is set to bring back all the Avengers together again.
Dinklage recently wrapped up his shoot for the seventh season Game of Thrones, (where he plays the charismatic Tyrion Lannister), which will air this June. According to reports, Dinklage is going to star in a key role, and might play a baddie. Avengers: Infinity War is a sequel to the second movie of the series, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and will follow the quest of the Avengers to protect the Infinity Stones from falling into the wrong hands.
Avengers: Infinity War will reunite the original Avengers — Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johannson), Hawkeye/Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Captain America/ Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).
Dinklage is not a Marvel rookie. In 2014, he starred in the hit Marvel franchise X-Men: Days of Future Past. He played Bolivar Trask, a shady military scientist, hell-bent on destroying the mutants.
Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to release in May 4, 2018.
