After soaring sartorial heights and making a mark on foreign and Indian shores, looks like actor Priyanka Chopra is finally ready to settle down in her new sea-facing home at Juhu in maximum city. So far, Pee Cee has been living with her mother and brother at Raj Classic, a posh building on Yari Road. (Photo gallery: Baby Ahil has a cosy encounter with Priyanka Chopra)

A lil birdie privy to the deals of the upper crusty circuit in Juhu tells us that mademoiselle Pee Cee’s plush five-bedroom apartment is walking distance from Amitabh Bachchan, Hritik Roshan and Rani Mukherjee’s home. Speaking to a leading Mumbai tabloid, Priyanka said, “Mom is going... The umbilical cord is finally getting cut.” Often seen spending time with her mother while shooting for her projects abroad, Priyanka depended on her mom to find her new home.

The busy-yet-leafy lanes of Juhu are home to many Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ameesha Patel, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Bobby Deol, Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Fardeen Khan, Govinda, Hema Malini, Hritik Roshan and Mahesh Bhatt, among others.

FYI, this star-studded locality is also infested with mosquitoes and potholes during the monsoons. We hope Piggy Chops squeezes out some time from her tight schedule to take her malaria and dengue shots regularly.

Buzz is that Priyanka will continue to expand her career in the West, a la contemporaries Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, and divide her time between Los Angeles and Mumbai (now Juhu). After all home is where the heart is!
