Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, just got a little more special with the news of Farhan Akhtar collaborating on the project. Farhan's Excel Entertainment was already co-producing the film along with Ritesh Sidhwani, but this time the brother-sister duo's association is a more creative one. A source close to the film told T2 Online that Farhan will be penning dialogues for the film.

Although it is a bit too early to comment on the developments of the script, Farhan did confirm the news himself when we met him recently during the promotions of Lucknow Central. "We're currently gearing up for Zoya's Gully Boy," said Farhan. When we probed him further, asking him whether reports of him writing the dialogues of the film are true, pat came his response, "Yes, that's correct."

Zoya and Farhan had earlier collaborated on movies such as Dil Dhadakne Do, Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara and Luck By Chance.
