Emilia Clarke has no plans to be a part of the Game of Thrones spin-offs, after the fantasy series ends its original run with its eigth season in 2018. The Brit actor famously plays the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen in the hit show, and will reprise her role in the upcoming final two seasons of the HBO hit, but not for the spin-offs which are in development.
"I have no doubt there will be prequels and sequels and who knows what else. But I am doing one more season. And then that'll be it." Emilia told Rolling Stones recently. The 30-year-old actor also said that she is unsure about how she will feel once the show ends, having been a part of it since 2011.
"There's going to be a shake-up of my identity, I think. And I feel like I'm only going to understand what the last seven years has been when we stop," said Emilia, who will also be seen in the untitled Han Solo film of the Star Wars franchise. It was revealed last month that a number of GoT prequel spin-offs are already in development, although it's not yet known how many of them will see the green light.
Game of Thrones season 7 is set to premiere on July 16.
