When you hear Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan in one breath, you ought to think another Dulhaniya instalment is in the making, given that both Humpty Sharma and Badrinath got theirs.

But the Dulhaniya trio is, in fact, reunitng for a war film titled Rannbhoomi. We hear Ranbhoomi is a love story at heart, with an element of revenge at the core. KJo took to Twitter to make the grand announcement and said, "So proud to announce #RANNBHOOMI ...@ShashankKhaitan and @Varun_dvn take a giant leap in their third offering together! A solid spectacle with a beating heart!!! DIWALI 2020 release! Remaining lead cast to be announced soon! @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18"

Apparently, Shashank has been working on this story since 2015, and it is only now that the project is close to fruition. "#Rannbhoomi ... A story I started working on in December 2015... thank you for giving this dream wings @karanjohar ... Excited to collaborate with my friend and my star @Varun_dvn ... @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies" he wrote on Twitter.

Varun's tweet, saying "#RANNBHOOMI. Diwali 2020. A warrior will rise.@karanjohar @ShashankKhaitan @DharmaMovies", however, makes us extremely curious. Is KJo trying to replicate Baahubali in Bollywood? Well, we will only get to know in Diwali 2020 when the warrior actually rises. Until then, keep guessing.
