As much as we'd love to watch Ryan Renolds's Deadpool character indulge in a sass battle with Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark aka Ironman, it is not going to happen anytime soon in the Avengers universe. And how do we know that? Because Deadpool got rejected, silly, and he has a letter signed by Tony stating that.

But the Merc with a Mouth isn't going to give up that easy. He will try and try, and then try some more. Until the next opportunity comes along, however, Deadpool decided to use his letter of rejection to congratulate the Avengers on their mega-battle against Thanos.

And Twitter, of course, loved it.

"From a guy who never knows when to quit, I'm glad you guys never did. Congrats #Avengers," wrote Ryan along with the image of his rejection letter. Tweeple immediately took a cue from Ryan's never-give-up attitude, and so did we.

Most, like us, were curious as to how Infinity War would turn out if Deadpool was in the mix.

Whatever, guys. We want to see Deadpool thrown in the pool. Yes, we do.
