Looks like the game of musical chairs around who the heroine would be in Salman Khan's home production Tubelight has finally come to an end. Names, including that of Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, have been doing the rounds for this Kabir Khan directorial venture. But guess what? It's actually Chinese actor Zhu Zhu who seems to have been paired with the 50-year-old hunk in this Indo-Sino war drama set in the 1960s.

That was a secret, well-guarded, we say, until the actor herself gave it away on Instagram late last night. Zhu Zhu posted a picture of herself with the Khan scion in Leh. And took it off within hours. Guess that was after she learnt her first Bollywood lesson: never spill the beans too soon.

However, the link to the photograph and the message along with it remain untouched on her Twitter timeline.

“On top of the palace with Mr #Salmankhan @ Leh Ladakh

For those who had missed Zhu Zhu's post, it was a fan handle by the name Team Kabir Khan that finally bared it all. This morning, they posted the picture of Salman with the Chinese VJ with the caption, "Salman Khan @BeingSalmanKhan with @Zhuzhu_juju the Chinese co actress of #Tubelight in #Ladakh"

Surprisingly, none of Zhu Zhu's other posts from Leh or her stay in Mumbai have been removed so far.

Zhu Zhu, who rose to fame as a VJ on MTV China, made her big screen debut with the Chinese romantic drama, What Women Want. She played the character Qi Qi in the American martial arts blockbuster, The Man with the Iron Fists, alongside Russell Crowe and a host of Hollywood biggies. She acted in several films thereafter, and also starred in the American TV series Marco Polo on Netflix.

The actor, who was in Mumbai for a few days last week, was put up at a plush five-star located near Salman’s house in Bandra. She even took a few lessons in Hindi before flying off to Leh for the shoot. From what we hear, Salman was also seen at the said hotel one evening while she was staying there.

Too much for it to be a mere coincidence, right?
