Akshay Kumar, who made his TV debut with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, fell ill on the sets of the show, last evening. According to a Mid-Day report, the actor was shooting on the sets at Yash Raj Studios, when he complained of body ache and fever.

A doctor was called on the set, but being the thorough professional that Akki is, he insisted on finishing the shoot first. The reason: the shoot was already delayed by a day as Akshay had to attend the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) at Goa recently. So the shoot for the Great Indian Laughter Challenge had been pushed by a day.

Akshay apparently didn't want the production house to incur any losses due to another day's delay so he refused to leave before completing his sequences. The doctor eventually suggested medicines and left. But Akshay continued to shoot and finished filming the entire episode.

Well, it's not for no reason that Khiladi Kumar is called one of the most dedicated actors of B-town that's infamous for its celeb tantrums.
